International fairs of Haryana are as follows:

International Gita Festival

  • This festival is celebrated in the month of Margashirsha (November - December) on 11th day of Shukla Paksha. Haryana Government organised this festival at the Brahma Sarovar, located in Kurukshetra every year.
  • The festival is being celebrated globally from 2017. In the year 2017, this festival was celebrated in Kurukshetra from 17th November to 3rd December.
  • This festival is organised collectively by Kurukshetra Development Board, Haryana Tourism Department, District Administration, North Regional Cultural Centre Patiala and Information and Public Relations Department.
  • Around 18000 verses of Gita are recited by saints in this festival. Along with this, many economic, cultural and spiritual programnmes are organised here
